Mahala Patel is a physiotherapist at Northamptonshire Physio Clinic, Wellingborough.  She spent her earlier years as a dancer, training at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and London Contemporary Dance School.  It was during this time that she became aware of the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation.  As her interest in the subject grew, Mahala went on to do a Sports and Remedial Massage qualification at NLSSM.  She worked as a sports and remedial massage therapist at a central London clinic for nine years.

Mahala has now been a qualified, working physiotherapist since 2013.  She has further qualifications in acupuncture, and pilates teaching.  And has attended courses in Strength & Conditioning, and JEMS.

In her spare time Mahala enjoys family time with her husband and young daughter, seeing friends and family, playing the piano, and keeping fit.
